MERRY, HAPPY AND HO HO HO!

gulls copy

Holiday Greetings from South Florida.  This blog has some 550± followers that it has accumulated over the two years I’ve been posting it.  And if I have five or five thousand readers, the five are no less significant than all the others.   I am quite happy with my groupie of 550 souls who stop by now and then, here and there, depending whether or not I tweaked their interest or curiosity.   Loyalty has its merits and is to be valued.

So I want to take a moment to thank all of you who have stopped by, whether just a few times or every time I post something.  If it weren’t for you, I would not be doing this blog.  The thing is, I need this blog to help hone my skills and continue to improve as a writer.  So thanks for making me do my homework and making sure I keep practicing.  Who knows, someday I just may get it right!

I hope all of you have the best of holidays whatever or wherever you celebrate.  May you and your family take a moment to appreciate the good things in your life and in each other…and let’s hope and wish that some of the terribly horrific things that people have done to each other this past year simply go away and may the differences among us heal and lead to a new sense of understanding and respect.  I for one would leave a big “LIKE” for that to happen.

Backatcha rcarmean…but for all others the official start of spring is Friday, March 20th…that’s when I hang my flag over the garage with the rabbit sticking his head through the daffodils and it says “Spring” on the bottom border…and there are no daffodils in Florida.
    p.s. Happy New Year!
