It’s official!  The Lesson Guide for my children’s book, ABOUT A FARM, has been published and is now available at amazon.com.

The Lesson Guide is designed for teachers and is targeted for grades 3 through 5.  It will take instructors through all twelve chapters of the book, offering topics for class discussion and exercises for each.  Plus, if we can work it out, I will offer a free author Skype session with any class that requests it.  Last year I had a Skype session with students in a Texas school and it was a lot of fun for all of us.

And, as a humble reminder, ABOUT A FARM won a 2013 Children’s Literary Classics International Book Award.  It was selected as Best First Chapter Book.  The CLC judge had some very nice things to say about the book.  Equally complimentary were the comments made by the judge representing Writer’s Digest 21st Annual Self-Publishing Awards (even though the book didn’t make it to the awards podium).  The judges’ remarks are on the book’s amazon page.

So, the endorsements for the book are in and the Lesson Guide is officially published.  Now everyone in the barnyard is simply waiting to be discovered by the educators.  So Teacers, don’t wait!  Check it out:  The new ABOUT A FARM LESSON GUIDE…it will revolutionize education and make children do everything they’re told!
