Well, it’s over. Sort of anti-climatic, I know. Now it’s back to the store to return what didn’t fit, didn’t work or didn’t please. Then, it’s squeeze what little money you have left to pick up some post-holiday bargains. Hang on, it’s just about over, except for taking down the tree and all the decorations. After that you can sit back and relax…but not for long because it will all unfold and begin again sooner than you expect.
So goes Christmas, the most exhausting of times we go through each year. I always find myself saying next time I will plan for it better, save for it more and stress with it less. You probably go through the same motions…to no avail. It is another classic example of the phrase, it is what it is! Halloween is so much easier.
Despite it all, I hope you got what you wanted this time around, enjoyed the smiles you received from the gifts you gave, and collected some nice moments to stash away in your Christmas memories.
