I DID MY BEST…TIME TO REST!

I am sorry, but there is no blog today.

I thought just once I’d fade away.

There wasn’t anything to write about

Maybe I’ll just sit around and pout.

This writing in rhyme is starting to wane

In fact, it’s becoming a downright pain.

Don’t be surprised if I decide to switch back

I did give it a try; I gave it a good whack.

Not to worry, I won’t abandon it altogether

I’m not some poet who travels fair weather.

If the moment calls for words that match

I’ll do my best to come up with a worthy batch.

But for today, I need to simply take a pass

And as for this blog, it can kiss my ….
